1. Service
Cocolada ("we", "the Service") provides an OpenAI-compatible HTTP gateway that routes inference requests to third-party AI providers (collectively "Upstream Providers"). The Service is operated as a beta product; functionality may change without notice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to use AI services in your jurisdiction. By signing in you confirm both.
3. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
- generate content that is illegal under applicable law,
- target specific individuals with harassment, doxxing, or deepfake content,
- generate child sexual abuse material or content sexualising minors,
- coordinate violence, terrorism, or weapons of mass destruction,
- distribute malware, phishing, or spam,
- circumvent rate limits or perform denial-of-service attacks,
- resell access without disclosing the underlying provider chain to your end-users.
Upstream Providers' usage policies also apply. Violations may result in API key revocation without refund.
4. Billing
Usage is metered per token at rates published on the models page. Credits are pre-paid and non-refundable except where required by law. Credits do not expire but accounts inactive for 365+ days may be archived. We may change pricing with 7 days' notice.
5. Data
Request and response bodies pass through our infrastructure to fulfil your inference call. We log metadata (token counts, latency, request id, model used) for billing and abuse prevention. We do not log prompts or completions by default. Upstream Providers may retain your data per their own policies — see Privacy Policy for details.
6. Liability
The Service is provided "AS IS". We are not liable for downstream provider outages, inaccurate AI outputs, lost profits, or any indirect damages. Total liability is capped at fees you paid in the 90 days preceding the claim.
7. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, breach upstream provider policies, or for prolonged inactivity.
